What This Resource Does
Georgia makes much arrest and booking information available through public agencies, yet the record is rarely in one place. The Cherokee Sheriff's Office runs the current JailList and the county Adult Detention Center. City departments hold their own incident reports. The Clerk of Courts holds the case path and disposition. The Georgia Department of Corrections publishes a separate offender search for people in state correctional custody.
The Cherokee County records hub brings those distinctions together. It explains how a current custody search differs from a released booking request, how to follow a charge into court, and why a booking photograph may not appear on the sheriff's public roster. The source agency remains the place to confirm a record.

What Cannot Be Provided
This is privately operated and has no connection to the Cherokee Sheriff's Office, any city police department, the Adult Detention Center, Georgia corrections, or another government agency. It does not store official records or control how a government portal changes.
- No one can be released, transferred, bonded, visited, or sent money through this resource.
- Current custody, charges, and release status must be confirmed by the sheriff or the responsible correctional agency.
- Legal advice must come from a licensed attorney or the appropriate court service.
- Phone numbers, fees, hours, addresses, and online systems can change, so confirm details before traveling or submitting a request.
Only the originating agency or court can authenticate a record. An arrest or booking is an accusation, and every person is presumed innocent unless and until a court determines otherwise.
